A site specific installation at the CAVE gallery.
The space was an approximately 4 ft. deep loading dock "pit" - about 10 ft. by 10 ft. The surrounding area was dark and grim.
In the cemetery-like pit were placed 25 life-size praying hands in rows of 5. They were painted in camoflauge colors.
The effect of the viewer looking down at the army of praying hands was both ominously serene and eerie.
This piece was inspired by the sadly constant furor between religion and war.
